Hiii, friends! I’m Kelley Armstrong

Long before I knew my path would take me down a career in real estate, there were two things about me I knew to be true:

  1. If I worked hard enough, I could do whatever I set my mind to, as long as there was a plan in place. (Thanks, Dad!)

  2. I LOVED working with people—and I was damn good at it, too!

My original plan was to become a lawyer…

My original plan was to become a lawyer, but I quickly realized in college that I was WAY more fired up about my business classes than my PoliSci classes, so I rerouted and decided to major in Business Marketing instead. What was I going to do with it? I had NO clue, but knew I would figure it out along the way.

During college, I picked up a job working at a retail store during the summers in between school at our local mall. I fell IN LOVE with customer service, but definitely didn’t want mall hours—I wanted more freedom to create something BIG.


After doing some research about different industries, I decided to look more into what it takes to work in real estate—and quickly realized that it might be a great career for me based on my passions and interests. An opportunity presented itself to interview at a local brokerage for an assistant position, and I immediately jumped at the chance to get myself inside the biz.

...which led me to my first job in the industry!

Enter my second family: T & E Realty (though I didn’t know it at the time!) T&E shaped my career and I’m forever grateful. I spent my first two years as their assistant, and worked my booty off to become a full-blown real estate agent in 2013.


Shortly after obtaining my license, I really fell in love with this business: the personalized customer service, the ever-changing transactions, the problem solving, the teamwork—I was hooked. Tracy and Emilio (aka, T&E!) came to me quickly after I got my brokers license and asked me to become a third partner in their brokerage at the end of 2015. It was a match made in heaven…. when I say I’m forever grateful, I mean it!


After 5 amazing years as business partners, in 2020 I decided to take my wild dreams and ideas on my own journey. With T&E’s blessing, I moved my license over to the fast-growing, forward-thinking brokerage, eXp Realty, and then, The Real Estate Collective was officially born!
