Red Lodge Home of Champions Rodeo and Parade
Plan yourself and the fam a staycation in Red Lodge to enjoy the annual Home of Champions Rodeo and July 4th Parade! The weekend events begin on July 1st with the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour and is followed by multiple days of traditional rodeos and parades in the heart of Red Lodge.
Laurel, MT's Annual July 4th Celebration
Located on the outskirts of Billings, MT, the small town of Laurel is known for its annual July 4th celebration and each year the town packs its streets full of family, friends and fun for a full day of activities!
The day begins with a fun run starting at 6:30am, followed by a pancake breakfast (7-11am), Grand Parade (11am), food and craft fair (9am-9pm) and the day ends with the largest fireworks show in Montana starting at dark.
33rd Billings Strawberry Festival
The annual Strawberry Festival takes place in the the streets of Downtown Billings and the long-time cherished community event is Billings largest street festival and kicks off the summer event season! In the heart of the urban center, you can have a day filled with food trucks and entertainment that's fun for the whole family!
Montana Brews and BBQ
The 13th annual Montana Brews & BBQ’s is back and will take place in the beautiful Lakeside setting at MetraPark this year! It's the only true "brewfest" in the state featuring an outdoor festival style experience with keg beers from local breweries paired with delicious BBQ from various vendors.

Summerfair Arts Festival
SummerFair, now in its 46th year, is the longest running arts and crafts festival in the region, featuring family activities, performers, and creative vendors from near and far. An exciting variety of makers, community groups, and food vendors participate every year.
Artist booths at SummerFair include painting, pottery, natural products, glass, wood, metal, fiber art, photography, artisan foods and more. SummerFair is a great place to find that unique gift for yourself or someone special while supporting the creative community.
The Red Lodge Songwriter Festival
The Red Lodge Songwriter Festival brings hit Nashville Songwriters and the best songwriters from Montana to perform and network with each other in the mountain community of Red Lodge.
For three days the streets, bars, cafes and parks of Red Lodge become a gathering place for songwriters from across the country!
4th Annual Downtown Mini Golf Tournament
Head to Downtown Billings for the 4th annual downtown Mini Golf Tournament where you can enjoy putting around 9 or 18 holes on two different courses of downtown fun. This is a fun event for families with kiddos and adult friend groups alike. There will be various giveaway & prize opportunities offered throughout the event!
Downtown Billings First Friday ArtWalk
Billings ArtWalk is a membership led organization committed to promoting artists and their fine arts. ArtWalk locations across downtown will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) to host exhibits and feature artists from Billings and our region.
All ArtWalk events are free and many locations host music and offer light refreshments.
Montana Renaissance Festival
Montana's Largest and Longest running Renaissance Festival happens every June and features nonstop entertainment, craft vendors, food and drink vendors, an incredible jousting and equestrian arena, day long period crafts demonstrators, and more!
SpringFest at Moss Mansion
The annual SpringFest at Moss Mansion begins with a delicious pancake breakfast at 8:30am, followed by a day full of shopping works of art and fine crafts presented by local artists The festival features a wide variety of handmade art in mediums such as jewelry, photography, clothing/textiles, leather, wood, pottery/clay, paintings and prints, and more.

Montana Women's Run
The main focus of the Montana Women’s Run is to promote health and fitness among women. The Run purposely reaches out to women of all ages and abilities, with awards for females from age 8 & Under to 90 & Over. The Run includes 4 Getting Started Clinics to get women ready for the Race, a Kids’ Run for kids 10 and under, and a Volunteer Party to thank the 400 volunteers that rally to make the event possible.
Derby at the Moss
The Race for the Roses will be under way this May 4th at the Moss Mansion. Come enjoy the excitement of the Kentucky Derby on our beautiful grounds while you watch the races on the big screen. The day will be filled with mint juleps, lovely appetizers, and a lot of horse racing fun. But don’t forget – the day would not be complete without a little hat contest, so come dressed in your best with a “fascinator” to beat the rest! On Derby Day come and enjoy the closest thing to the Churchill Downs experience Billings has to offer!
Purple 5K
The Purple 5K is back in Downtown Billings! This 5K was created to empower the community to be actively involved in the fight against homelessness, poverty, and addiction in our city. This fun run/walk starts and ends in Downtown Billings under Skypoint and take participants through the hospital corridor and north elevation neighborhoods of Billings.

Billings' Best Easter Egg Hunt
Billings' Best Easter Egg Hunt is back with Shiloh United Methodist Church. 3 time slots are available for ages 1-12. In addition to the egg hunt, there will be free pictures with the Easter Bunny, various food and product vendors, raffles with prizes from our sponsors, and even a few Golden Eggs!
Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Brunch at Rimrock Mall
Join Rimrock Mall in the food for a fun Bunny Brunch, provided by Krispy Kreme. Your littles can enjoy their famous glazed donuts and some refreshments, followed by the egg hunt at 10am. The Easter Bunny will also be hopping in to say hello and cheer the kids on! This is a family-fun event for Children ages 10 and under and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
41st Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Celtic Fair
This annual FREE community event has been a tradition in the Billings community for 41 years. It features a parade of over 40 festive floats and the Celtic Fair & Street Party fills the streets below Skypoint with the scent of street food and the festive sound of music, cloggers, and bag-pipers. Enjoy a festive atmosphere with outdoor family-friendly activities, food trucks, a FREE concert on Broadway, and more.

Red Lodge Skijoring
Since 1980, Red Lodge Ski-Joring Association has been hosting the national finals for ski-joring races. Competitors and spectators come from all over Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and even Canada to watch and participate in races! These events also help support Red Lodge and the surrounding communities.
