Montana Women's Run
The main focus of the Montana Women’s Run is to promote health and fitness among women. The Run purposely reaches out to women of all ages and abilities, with awards for females from age 8 & Under to 90 & Over. The Run includes 4 Getting Started Clinics to get women ready for the Race, a Kids’ Run for kids 10 and under, and a Volunteer Party to thank the 400 volunteers that rally to make the event possible.

The Last Best Beer Run and 5k

Around the World Wine Tasting
Enjoy the tastes of four different wines from regions around the world by attending the “Around the World” Wine Tasting event at Moos Mansion. Each wine is paired with a delicious appetizer. A local sommelier will explain the different varietals you are experiencing, all while wandering through the gorgeous Moss Mansion.
Downtown Billings First Friday ArtWalk
Billings ArtWalk is a membership led organization committed to promoting artists and their fine arts. ArtWalk locations across downtown will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) to host exhibits and feature artists from Billings and our region.
All ArtWalk events are free and many locations host music and offer light refreshments.
SpringFest at Moss Mansion
The annual SpringFest at Moss Mansion begins with a delicious pancake breakfast at 8:30am, followed by a day full of shopping works of art and fine crafts presented by local artists The festival features a wide variety of handmade art in mediums such as jewelry, photography, clothing/textiles, leather, wood, pottery/clay, paintings and prints, and more.

Montana's Largest and Longest running Renaissance Festival happens every June and features nonstop entertainment, craft vendors, food and drink vendors, an incredible jousting and equestrian arena, day long period crafts demonstrators, and more!

5th Annual Downtown Mini Golf Tournament
Head to Downtown Billings for the 5th annual Downtown Mini Golf Tournament where you can enjoy putting around 9 or 18 holes on two different courses of downtown fun. This is a fun event for families with kiddos and adult friend groups alike. There will be various giveaway & prize opportunities offered throughout the event!
Derby at the Moss
The Race for the Roses will be under way this May 4th at the Moss Mansion. Come enjoy the excitement of the Kentucky Derby on our beautiful grounds while you watch the races on the big screen. The day will be filled with mint juleps, lovely appetizers, and a lot of horse racing fun. But don’t forget – the day would not be complete without a little hat contest, so come dressed in your best with a “fascinator” to beat the rest! On Derby Day come and enjoy the closest thing to the Churchill Downs experience Billings has to offer!

Murder Mystery Dinner-Roaring ’20’s
The ’20’s are starting to roar with our most popular speakeasy mystery! Everyone’s a player, anyone could be the murderer! Dress in costume (flappers, zoot suits, pearls, fedoras, etc.) and enjoy an evening of dinner and drinks while you collect evidence and solve the crime. There will be plenty of exciting twists as you experience the Moss Mansion in a new way.
Shamrock Run 5K & Kids Run
Kick off the spring racing season and celebrate St. Patrick's Day! We'll close down the streets around Pioneer Park for a 5K race and Kids Run.
Kids 12 and under can enjoy a free, 1 mile fun run after the 5K is finished.
42nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Celtic Fair
This annual FREE community event has been a tradition in the Billings community for 42 years. It features a parade of over 40 festive floats and the Celtic Fair & Street Party fill the streets below Skypoint with the scent of street food and the festive sound of music, cloggers, bag-pipers. Enjoy a festive atmosphere with outdoor family-friendly activities, food trucks, a FREE concert on Broadway, and more.

Red Lodge Skijoring
Since 1980, Red Lodge Ski-Joring Association has been hosting the national finals for ski-joring races. Competitors and spectators come from all over Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and even Canada to watch and participate in races! These events also help support Red Lodge and the surrounding communities.
