Located on the outskirts of Billings, MT, the small town of Laurel is known for its annual July 4th celebration and each year the town packs its streets full of family, friends and fun for a full day of activities!

The day begins with a fun run starting at 7:00am, a pancake breakfast (6:30-10:30am), Grand Parade (11am), food and craft fair (9am-9pm) and the day ends with the largest fireworks show in Montana starting at dark. 🎇

Plan yourself and the fam a staycation in Red Lodge to enjoy the annual Home of Champions Rodeo and July 4th Parade!

The weekend events begin on July 1st with the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour and is followed by multiple days of traditional rodeos and parades in the heart of Red Lodge.

If you’re looking to spend a few days away, Livingston is the place to be!

The Livingston Roundup Rodeo is an annual event packed with multiple days of celebration starting on Monday, July 1st and going through Thursday, July 4th and features multiple nights of the rodeo, a parade and of course fireworks.

Similar to Laurel, MT, Ennis is another small town favorite that does Independence Day right!

Celebrations begin on July 3rd with the Ennis Rodeo and is followed by a day full of events on the  4th, complete with a car show, parade, BBQ and airshow.

Let freedom ring with Butte’s famous Freedom Festival! 🔔

The festivities begin on July 3rd as fireworks are launched from the base of Butte's "Big M" above Montana Tech and the fun continues on July 4th at 10am for the annual parade

If you want to experience an old-fashioned July 4th celebration, make your way to Missoula for their 47th annual Fourth at the Fort Celebration!

Each year, the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula and the Rocky Mountain Museum of Military History partner together to offer many family-friendly activities from 10am-4pm, including live music, wagon ride, food trucks, scavenger hunts, craft vendors, activity booths and much more.

Recognized by the New York Times as one of America's Top 10 Fireworks Displays, the Whitefish Chamber's annual 4th of July celebration is back for another year.

The celebrations feature pre-firework activities, including kayak and paddleboard rentals and food vendors, followed by the firework show that’s launched from a floating barge off the shore of Whitefish City Beach!
